Megan Savage Landscape Designer
Born and raised in the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley, Megan’s childhood was spent running barefoot through the tiny town of Los Olivos with her older sister and her two dogs. As time went on, she found peace in sketching and painting, where her love for nature and art grew into a passion for studying the natural sciences and design. From there, she made the natural leap into the landscape design field.
Megan graduated from Cal Poly, SLO with a degree in Landscape Architecture focused on California native plant materials and habitats. While she was in school, she traveled abroad to Australia to further study one of her favorite subjects: coastal-adjacent and marine ecosystems. When Megan came back to the Central Coast, she found her second home at Madrone Landscapes – where she enjoys the challenge of creatively and sustainably bringing people closer to their outdoor environment. She loves designing for her clients and working with a fun, talented, design-build company that shares her passion and values.
