Hilltop Garden | Templeton, CA

This North County property partners natural elements with a cultivated garden theme. Native grasses border an upper patio, providing a soft foreground to stunning views of the rolling landscape. A formal parterre-style garden with colorful blooms on the lower terrace can also be viewed from above.

The plant palette of this project is proof that deer-resistant landscapes can still have lots of color and texture! Soft sages, bright yarrow, blooming trees, and wavy grasses complement the views. The natural theme is evident in built elements such as stone veneer walls, timber steps, gravel pathways, boulders and flagstone step stones. We especially love the entertainment nook created with the custom outdoor kitchen island and firepit seating area!
