Ian Parker is the Sales Manager at Madrone Landscapes where he oversees our Sales and Design efforts.  Ian began his career in the landscape industry as an energetic 18 year old when he went to work with a Landscape Contractor who serviced Malibu’s seaside mansions. As his love for his work grew, Ian pursued a Certification of Advanced Professional Development through Cal State University Northridge in Landscape Design.  In 2005, Ian branched out and founded a small design / build company that provided landscape services to high end residences in and around Los Angeles. Ian’s longing for wide open spaces and highways without traffic eventually led him to the Central Coast in 2010. He has since served to manage large landscape design, construction, and maintenance projects throughout SLO County.  His desire has always been to design and install elegant landscapes that stand out artistically and are built to stand the test of time. Ian is a licensed Landscape Contractor (C-27), and has achieved numerous other industry certifications. In his free time, he can be found seeking inspiration on our local trails or heading off for a fun weekend in the mountains.
